Montréal’s TOPS continue generously to share from their forthcoming I Feel Alive LP, and “Direct Sunlight” is a dappled blast of retro-futurism and its spotless latest single. The album arrives on April 3rd courtesy of their own Musique TOPS. You can pre-order coke-bottle-clear-vinyl, black-vinyl, CD, cassette and digital versions of it both from their webstore or from their Bandcamp page now.

Olivia Jean: “Jaan Pehechaan Ho”

Polished and powerful as its engines roar, “Jaan Pehechaan Ho” is the molten new single from Detroit’s Olivia Jean. The track, originally performed by Mohammed Rafi, is taken from her irresistible latest LP Night Owl, and you can buy that either from Third Man Records or from her Bandcamp page. Finally she’s soon to begin an extensive U.S. tour, and you can find dates and locations for it on her website.

Julia Haltigan: “Wool”

Crisply-imagined noir, the narcotic, cinematic and brand-new video was directed by Marc McAndrews in a heavenly reverie. “Wool” is the absinthe-rinsed and gloriously-styled new single from New York City’s Julia Haltigan. You can download the track now from her Bandcamp page, and Trouble, her next album, will be out on October 25th.

Deidre & the Dark: “Back In Time”

Inhabited by the kind, wise and tuxedoed ghost of Henry Mancini, it burns cherry red as wisps of smoke rise, curling in ivory ribbons. “Back In Time” is the heaven-sent new single from Brooklyn-based autrice Deidre Muro, whose Deirde & the Dark project is set to release its debut LP. Entitled Variety Hour, you can pre-save it on Spotify and Apple Music now, and you can pre-order the digital version of it from her Bandcamp page, too.
