A searing, sinewy transmission, “Let’s Go To Mars” is a rough-and-tumble celebration and the blood-pumping new single from Austin’s The Ghost Wolves. This is the A-side to the Let’s Go To Mars b/w Last Man single that they release through Dirty Water Records on February 7th. You can order 7″-vinyl and digital versions of it from the band’s Bandcamp page now.

Sun June: “Terrified”

Song Confessional is an Austin-based podcast for which musicians and songwriters transform everyday stories into songs, and hometown band Sun June has contributed “Terrified”, a languid, calming gem. The latest edition of the podcast was released today, and you can listen to it at the NPR website now. Meanwhile the band are currently at work on their next LP, one due for release later this year.

Filmed in Austin and at Bastrop State Park in Central Texas by the band’s own Laura Colwell and Stephen Salisbury, the brand-new video is a spooky, Gothic symbolic exploration. “Monster Moon” is airy, emotive and taken from Years, the latest LP from Sun June. You can buy vinyl, CD and cassette versions of it from the Keeled Scales Bandcamp page now. Finally the band will be touring with Fruits Bats, Lucy Dacus and Liza Anne, and you can find out where they will be right here.

RELICK: “Today Sunshine”

Freeing and hopeful, it dances in warm breezes like a willow does — untroubled and mesmeric. “Today Sunshine” is stylish psychedelia and the beaming, brand-new single from Austin’s RELICK. It’s available from all major streaming and download platforms now, and you can find it on their Bandcamp page, too.
