The Crystal Furs: "Too Kind To Be Cruel"

A warming breeze in newly-green treetops, it piques memories while it calms. “Too Kind To Be Cruel” is the gently-fluttering, literate and lovable brand-new single from Portland, Oregon’s The Crystal Furs. The band’s Kara Buchanan describes the track as

“having a bigger, layered sound than anything we’ve done before — wider stereo fields, instruments like electric piano and vibraphone and sleigh bells, multi-tracked vocals, just really trying to take our songwriting up to a new level. It takes inspiration from twee pop, Pacific Northwest indie rock and The Beach Boys.”

You can download the track right now by visiting the band’s Bandcamp page.

Juniore: "Bizarre"

Parisians Juniore have just shared “Bizarre”, lean and vintage Pop written with a wink and their groove-heavy, psychedelic new single. The track is taken from Un Deux Trois – mise en abyme et ubiquité fantasque, their forthcoming LP. In the meantime you can buy their Ah bah d’accord b/w En solitaire single along with more of their music from their Bandcamp page. Via Les inRocks.
